Digital images of Fred G. Coxen's hand-written World War One journal (August 4, 1914 - May 6, 1915) are found here. He served in the Royal Field Artillery from 1905-1920 and was involved in the early battles of the war. The original journal resides in the Imperial War Museum in London; it is of historic value since it describes in detail the events which took place in the early battles when the armies were still mobile.
