Der Chef des Generalstabs des Feldheeres an das Auswärtige Amt1


                                                       Berlin, den 4. August 1914

     Auf Unterbrechung der Verbindung des französischen Gesandten
in Luxemburg mit seiner Regierung muß militärischersei ts Wert ge-
legt werden2. Division ist von hier aus zu schonender Behandlung
der luxemburgischen Behörden angewiesen, soweit mit unseren
Interessen vereinbar.
